Today we heard Phil Ochs sing "Here's to the State of Mississippi". I can't find the original, but here's Ochs singing his Richard Nixon version, and Eddie Vedder singing a modernized version.
(Speaking of the "Richard Nixon" version and the idea of an "Imperial Presidency", seems that Ochs would have a lot to sing about today were he still alive.)
We also heard the old Hank Williams tune "House of Gold", which is a nice song. Here it is, sung by a group called the Adrians.
