of all the gin joints in all the writing minds in all the world

this story walks into mine...

I was thinking about stories today while driving to work. I've been reading Coyote Wild and thinking about Weird Tales and Talebones and if there's anything I might submit to those.

And, lo and behold, the previously-stopped story "The Dybbuk's Moll" walks into my brain and sits down and says "Hey, Mac. Me again." And, it brings with it a new twist which makes the protagonist actually a real protagonist and Just Might Work.

I finished off "When the Party of the First Part Met the Party of the Second Part (With Addendum and Rider)" during some early evening writing at Peets. I have several stories I want to revise, but I think "The Dybbuk's Moll" will be taking some cycles so it can get written with this new twist.

It's baaaack...
