(we're talking miniature Kit Kats and Butterfingers and Snickers and M&Ms and, yes, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!)
I both praise your existence and curse you. I did not need to have a mini-Butterfinger (and a KitKat and a Snickers), but now I must.
The Reese's, I'm saving that one for later.
Ugh. That was not a good game.
Stanford lost the national championship, 64-48, against Tennessee. For a team that looked so good in the rest of the games, Stanford looked so bad tonight. Tennessee's defensive pressure completely overwhelmed them and they could not keep the Volunteers off the boards. Against Tennessee, that's the end of that. Stanford never looked like they really got anything going at all, Tennessee looked quick and athletic.
The game in a nutshell: Tennessee had *13* steals, Stanford had *25* turnovers (twenty-five!). It's amazing it was only a 16 point deficit (and it was 10 until near the end of the game when the fouling started).
Sigh. It was fun while it lasted...
Noodling around on LJ and the Internet is not a proper substitute for writing stories that are due in a week, nor is it a proper substitute for critiquing stories that must be critiqued by tomorrow night.
No, you may not have another glass of Caffeine Free Diet Coke.
No, you may not have a Girl Scout Cookie.
Get to work.
