bald man thinking

links for early evening

- Kevin Smith Talks About Superman (via tomorrowelephant.net). Kevin relates his involvement in early proposals for the Superman movie, including interacting with Jon Peters. 19 minutes but extremely funny, in a crazy Hollywood sort of way, with a great last bit.

- Flute 'n' Veg - Construction. A duo that plays flutes made from vegetables. If you ever wondered how, now's your chance to find out.

- Every Second Counts (at zefrank.com). A game where you try to estimate, with mouse presses, how long a specific interval of time is. Pretty slick and fun.

- The eyeballing game. Estimating various geometric things. I've always thought I had good "eyeballing" skills, and had fun with this one.

- Naomi Klein: Wall St. Crisis Should Be for Neoliberalism What Fall of Berlin Wall Was for Communism (DemocracyNow, via burger_eater). Naomi Klein on the fiscal crisis and what it means for future politics. This is long, and I haven't read it all yet, but I've liked many past Naomi Klein articles and I look forward to this one.
