stores go out again

Did four submissions at lunch today, three by mail (mail!) and one by email. So I'm back up to 18 active stories again.

I'd sure like to see twenty active stories, but that requires finishing either new or revised stories and sending them out. Got to do that. Yes, I do.

Tonight, while A climbs, I'll see if I can finish "The Ghost of Mister Tremendous". The ending is out there, asking me to make it end like this no matter how much I resist the meanness of its nature. I might finally be giving in.

Flip video camera = Completely Awesome

At the school fundraiser Saturday night, in the silent auction, we acquired a Flip Video Camera (WARNING: loud video at the link).

I finally got a chance to play with it today, and this thing is Totally and Completely Awesome.

I had it up and running in about 2 minutes. It takes very nice quality video with sound. It stores 60 minutes of video. It has an embedded USB port so you just plug it into the computer and away you go. It works with both PCs and Macs. Even transferring and saving video is a snap, what with all necessary software stored on the camera itself.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. I'm totally impressed. I see a future that involves more video. Much more video.

Highly recommended.
