[writing] any advice on what to do wrt a submission to Lady Churchill's?

A ways back I submitted a story to Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet (LCRW) which is, without a doubt, one of my favorite semiprozines.

It's been 2 months longer than their stated reply time of 3-6 months and I haven't heard anything. I sent them a query a couple weeks ago, at the "7 months since submission" time, but didn't get a reply.

So now what? I don't really want to just pull the story, as I want to give them every chance possible to consider it. LCRW is one of the places where I would love to sell a story one day, so I certainly don't want to act like the special snowflake writer and tick them off forever. On the other hand, I'd like to know if they got it in the first place and if it's still under consideration (and if it is, then that's totally cool by me).

I know the classic piece of advice is: "Worried about one story? Write another one." I am doing that. I'm just curious how this one is doing at LCRW.

So any advice or thoughts on the LCRW submission process or history would be greatly appreciated, especially from those who have interacted with the LCRW folks in the past.

Thanks in advance,
