now that's what I call exercise

Got up this morning and did a 12.5 mile bike ride, immediately followed by a 5K (3.1) mile run. In the old triathlon days, that combo workout was called a "brick".

Total time was 1:16 (47 minutes on the bike, which includes 2 traffic lights; 3 minutes to change clothes bike->run; 26 minutes for the run). Toss in 24 minutes for a half-mile swim and a swim->bike clothes change and that's a 1:40 sprint triathlon. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Now the rest of the day will be spent napping and eating all the food :-)
