[writing] a slight change in plans

I'd planned to revise "When Crogdor Came Back", my current story in the Critters queue, and also get my Critters crits up to speed by doing 5 Critters crits. All this needed to be done by tomorrow, because "Crogdor" is scheduled to come up for critique on Wednesday.

However, the long weekend and general laziness have ensured that things won't quite be on that schedule. I'll still get the "Crogdor" revision done and updated in the queue, but it won't be coming up at Critters until September 10 (ie, after the holiday). The crits are proving to be the bottleneck. Another reason to do the crits at a constant rate (1/week), and not in bursts.

Not that it's an issue for anyone here, I'm just documenting my slackitude for all to see.

All other plans, including revising "The Dybbuk's Moll" for the Orycon writing workshop, proceed apace. "The Dybbuk's Moll"! I like that story - it's fun. In a tawdry, dirty, nasty, mean, magic and monsters, noir, way.
