Season 2, Episode 3
Desert, music, truck, difficult looks. It's either the early Terminator movies, or an Eagles song.
View of pickup truck wheel from below. Always indicates a problem. Always. I don't know about anybody else, but I take my keys with me when I get out to put gas in the car.
Took me a second to figure out what was going on there with the phone call and Charlie and John and Sara. I was thinking she was being rather cruel..
Last week it was women in the shower in distress, this week it's women tied up in distress.
That movie with Garrett Delahunt is pretty danged funny. He's looking mighty buff there.
Of all the questions to ask your wife, why that one ("Where was the first time we made love?"). The "what happened at dinner the first day we made love" question was a lot better.
[Cameron at the cafe, watching John and new girlfriend] Psycho Stalker Terminator, qu'est que c'est? Fa fa fa fa, fa fa fa fa fa fa...
They so better not kill Penny! Desmond would be pissed!
Yet another "blow something up with a cell phone" scene in a show (see "Fringe"). That's a very popular technique, apparently.
These Terminators go through incredibly complicated gyrations in their attempt to create a situation where they can kill John Connor - lure the humans away, make a cell phone listening device, etc. Geez, Terminators, just do it.
And the ex-FBI guy is meeting up with the shape changing Terminator. Of course, he doesn’t know she's a terminator. But what is the Shirley Manson Terminator's agenda?
I thought the beach scene was Santa Cruz Boardwalk, but it's not. Kind of looked like it at first glance.
That's a pretty slick realization, when you see that Terminators sink. But he's just going to walk along the bottom and come back out, so time to hurry.
You killed Penny! You bastards!
There's some sort of religious subtext and theme going on here, but I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to be. I'm guessing that tossing the Bible into the grave had something to do with it, as does the four people sitting around the table looking kind of like they're saying grace.
Summary: I'm not as sure about this one. There's some thematic work happening, and possibly some character development but I'm very uncertain about where this is going. Or maybe that's the point - it's not about trying to go somewhere, it's just about trying to survive.
