a blue sky over a blue lake, and bike race results

First, the view from our room at the rather smoke-soaked Horizon Casino Resort. (Next time we're staying on the California side of the state line, where hotels are all non-smoking.) But you can't beat this view, even through a camera phone.



From the Lake Tahoe Marathon site, here's the bike race results. Hey, it's me!

Note that the results are very skewed because they're by total time, so the extremely speedy 35 mile and 72 mile people are listed after the very mellow 20 mile people (like me). Still, a cool part of a very nice weekend.

One more phone picture, from Pope Beach where the after-race brunch was held.



Can't beat Tahoe.
