[writing] SALE! To Byzarium!

I mailed the contract today, so I can now announce that my short (flash) story "Cat, Owl, Cigarette" has sold to Byzarium! Byzarium is a neat online journal publishing fun, interesting stories from multiple genres. I'm very pleased to be a part of their magazine.

For you writers out there, Byzarium also runs a regular Flash Fiction (500 words or less) contest based on art by Kiriko Moth. For example, here's the winning story and art from a previous contest. If you like to write flash, check out Byzarium!

I've been in a bit of a writing slump recently, but this sale is a great pick-me-up and has helped recharge me for the coming year. Thanks to the Byzarium editors for purchasing my story!
