I'm saying I'd do the Writing Workshop, along with panels on the tracks of Technology, Writing, and Media (which I'm interpreting as Film/TV). I also made sure to note that I'm a big fan of LOST and the (reimagined) Battlestar Galactica.
There a funny question: the Panelist Preference questions, ie, people with whom you do or *do not* want to share panels.
They asked if I wanted to have a reading slot, and I'm not sure about that. It seems like, for a novice like me, it's a bit much. But, I also have fun reading stories out loud (it's that Drama degree). Maybe I could read other people's stories!
For about a year, I've toyed with the idea of doing a Science Fiction Spelling Bee. It would be along the lines of the Broadway show "Putnam County Spelling Bee" with real SF/F words and a lot of humor around definitions and sentences (for "could you use it in a sentence"). Would people come to a panel like that?
