But spurred on by the recent big successes of my VPXI classmates, I did an end of the month submission frenzy of 7 stories. I also did 2 more yesterday, along with sending out one that had already come back lickety-split from the end of the month.
The current count is 17 stories out in the world. One of those 17 needs to be withdrawn because I realize that it's a reprint submit to a podcast site of a story that hasn't been published yet, but that I sold back in August. So that will make 16 actually out. Three of those 16 need to be queried, as they've under consideration much longer than the site guidelines say is normal.
2 more stories are waiting to be published (woohoo!), and 1 is with someone who promised to give it a read and see if she can help it find a home.
That's the Submission Report. Back to trying to get more stories out into the world. (well, actually, back to work after lunch break, and tonight back to getting stories out).
