Another magazine goes on hiatus

Apex Magazine is taking a break for a while.

Darn. I only recently started submitting to Apex Magazine, but have enjoyed stories I've read there and they were definitely on my "hope to sell to them one day" list. And, I met editor Jennifer Brozek at Norwescon and she was very nice.

Note that Apex is still selling good books even if they aren't publishing the magazine right now.

Also, take advantage of their advice from the editorial staff and learn how to improve the quality of your submissions. For anywhere, not just Apex. Or, more specifically, things to do to avoid frakking up your submission and earning an instant No.

Hopefully Apex Magazine will come back one day.
