we're off to SPACE today
This afternoon I'm taking the kids to see the SPACE: A JOURNEY TO OUR FUTURE exhibit that's been in town the last six months, after being at the National Air and Space Museum.

The exhibit not only covers the past of space exploration using displays and artifacts, but also shows possible futures, including a simulated Lunar Base Camp.

My gosh - why didn't I go to this earlier?!?! Why haven't I been a half-dozen times already?!?! Shaaaaame on me, because this should be awesome. I'll make sure to report back when I'm done.

It was pretty darned fun, even if the kids didn't have as much fun as I did.

As for why I hadn't gone yet, I'm just a lamer. It was one of those "oh, it's going to be around for six months so I'll go *next* weekend or *next* month, cause there's something this weekend, etc, etc, etc." Then, all of a sudden it's "oh man, the show is going away in a month!"

I'm going to try to go one more time, if I can pull it off. And post some pictures from my visit (Ha!)
