Frederick Pohl on Writers of the Future

Frederick Pohl posts a very interesting and well-thought-out review of his involvement with the Writers of the Future contest over the last 30 years.

The short summary is: New writers should enter it. Every quarter.

Which is what I've always believed. But there are those with concerns about the relationship to Scientology, and he addresses those. It's a very interesting and insightful read.

The next deadline is September 30. What am I going to send in? I don't know, but I'll figure it out. Don't want to miss out.
