So, where's the future where he marries Jughead?
So, this whole "Archie Marries Veronica" thing is turning out to be a big publicity play. (Anyone surprised? Anyone? Bueller?)

At least, that's how I read the information covered in this New York Times article, and accompanying slideshow. Three issues of Archie marries Veronica, three issues of Archie marries Betty, a quick shout-out to Robert Frost, then it's back to normal.

Best quote from the article: “The polls that I’ve seen ran about 80/20, Betty over Veronica, with Jughead continually coming in a strong third,” said Mr. Uslan, a comic-book historian...

Now *there's* an alternative future: Does Archie try to somehow alter Jughead's expensive and health-endangering hamburger habit? How does the perpetual and inexplicable lustful attention Archie gets from all the Riverdale hotties affect Jughead's self-esteem? And don't get me started on Moose and Reggie's reaction.

There's plenty there to work with. Fanfic folks, get those keyboards and pens going!

I thought this was all worked out in Chasing Amy :)

Wow, I really disliked that movie. Between Ben Affleck and the actress doing the Minnie Mouse impersonation, I couldn't stand it.

The only thing that kept me from yanking out the tape/disk and burning it, beyond the fee I would have had to pay to the video store, was Jason Lee. Eventually, I just fast forwarded to any scene he was in and watched it.

So, I really don't know the plotline. Did Ben Affleck's and Jason Lee's characters get together?

No, although in the end, Affleck suggested it. Well, he suggested the three of them get together. It was a heartbreaker.

Yeah, Joey Lauren Adams' voice can take some getting used to, but I actually like Affleck. When he's not trying to be an action hero.

I've just never been a fan of Affleck. Something about the jutting jaw, taciturn expression, and sullen voice screams "frat boy" to me and I've never liked the frat boy type.

Daredevil I don't think I saw, but I don't think I would have liked it. At least, not Ben Affleck. Jennifer Garner, on the other hand, I've thought she was cute since "Felicity".
