come hear me read "Very Difficult Diwali" at World Fantasy Oct 30!
Jetse de Vries, editor of the SHINE Anthology, and publisher of my story "The Very Difficult Diwali of Sub-Inspector Gurushankar Rajaram" at DayBreak Magazine (SHINE's online magazine), has arranged for a reading at World Fantasy Convention!

The reading will be Friday Oct. 30 at 9 PM, in the Crystal Room. All are welcome!

The reading consist of the five stories that are going to be published at the DayBreak site before the SHINE Anthology is published. I will be leading off! I'll read the first section of two of "Very Difficult Diwali".

Come hear me voice an AI, a unicopter, an automated calendar reminder, a police Inspector, and many other characters! I love reading stories out loud, and this story is a lot of fun to read. Check it out!

Thanks! It was much fun, and I had a good time. Many funny voices and sound effects. Somewhere there is a picture, and I will try to find it and post it.

Thanks! I don't recall if you were there or not (maybe not??? I think we talked about that at the VP gathering) but I had a great time reading it. Didn't get to the elephants (beyond "The elephants are marauding"), but did get to do many funny voices...
