two quick OryCon 31 notes: "Jeff" and Fundraiser Reading Sat night
I said a few posts back that I would be at OryCon and doing some events and panels.

Because I was a total bozo when filling out the panelist information, I managed to get myself listed as "Jeff" in every panel. So if you are reading the online program guide (or print program) and see panels where a panelist is listed as "Jeff" (just "Jeff"), that's me.

No, I don't have a Madonna/Beyonce/Shakira complex. It's what I get for not paying attention.

Also, as Jay Lake is currently in the hospital for cancer surgery (and it's going well so far, according to the updates at the twitter account), his reading slot is being handled by a quickly assembled Team of Experts. For some reason, I'm in there too.

The reading is being set up as a fundraiser for The Clayton Memorial Medical Fund, an extremely worthy cause that Jay has promoted in the past. The reading is on Saturday night from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The exact piece and format has not yet been decided, but we can guarantee much fun and entertainment. Come on by!
