In other news, I punched out another scene (+ a tad more) of "The Very Difficult Diwali of Inspector Thirumala Naidu" in an hour at Peets. I'm just having fun with this story. The real Naidu is giving me lots of information that is proving very useful with the setting and background. I got to the elephants, and we'll have to see how well the monkeys can come into play.
Work is busy - we have almost everyone on the pre-production server except for one group of testers. They're one of the Bangalore groups, so there's a meeting at 6AM (ack!) tomorrow to help sort out what's going on. Man that's early.
This weekend is Santa Cruz and a trip up to Pleasanton for the Alameda County Highland Games. Food, music, herding dogs, sheepdog trials, and big people throwing heavy things around. Alas I wasn't able to order a kilt in time for the Kilted Mile. Maybe I can get one there. They sound so comfortable, especially when it's 104 degrees!
